Card #3 Stamp-A-Stack

Hi! Here is another card that we will be creating at my Stamp-A-Stacks this weekend. I have seen several cards with this same layout, and I love it! So crisp and simple!!! I am showing 2 samples, each slightly different. My stampers can stamp both the same or one of each...their choice!

Supplies:
Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly, All Holidays
Ink: Rose Red
Paper: Certainly Celery, Rose Red, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Regal Rose (in card #2), Whisper White
Accessories: 1-1/4" & 1-3/8" Circle Punches

Have a great Friday!!! I'll be back this weekend to show the other 2 cards for my Stamp-A-Stack.

CIRCLE Circus...not Circus Circus!

Hi! Here is a card that made the cut to my Stamp-A-Stack this weekend. So if you are coming, here is a little sneak peak of what you will be stamping! I hope you like it! It's a great guy card! My inspiration came from this card on Splitcoaststampers. I only changed the colors. :)

Supplies:
Stamps: Circle Circus, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Dusty Durango, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, Whisper White
Accessories: Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon (only one accessory...that's a first!)

Ok, so I have been calling this stamp set the wrong name since it first came out! Don't tell me I'm the only one who thought this!! Come on, fess up! LOL! I learned last week that the correct name is CIRCLE Circus...not Circus Circus. I challenged my upline to the name of this set...and I lost!!! But if you look at the set, Circle Circus makes more sense! LOL!

Have a great Thursday! See you soon!

Fifth Avenue Style - Nichole Style!

Hi! I had some quality stampin' time in my stampin' area last night! Yeah! It always makes me feel good!! I saw these pretty cards on Nichole's blog, and thought I would recreate them with Stampin' Up! stamps! Nichole is one talented girl! I look forward to her new releases and countdown starting on the 10th of each month. She comes up with some amazing ideas!

I just love the first one made with Rich Razzleberry and Sahara Sand. The others are created with Kraft cardstock. I used Vanilla Craft ink on the flowers.

Supplies:
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Fundamental Phrases
Ink: Very Vanilla Craft Ink, Rich Razzleberry, (Real Red), (Chocolate Chip)
Paper: Sahara Sand, Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla, (Kraft & Real Red), (Kraft & Chocolate Chip)
Accessories: Modern Label Punch, Vintage Brads, Dimensionals

I like it! Clean & simple! Makes great wedding or anniversary cards!

Have a great day! I'm scheduling another post for Thursday. I don't think I'm going to have time for my CASE Thursday, but will definitely have something new to share with you! I'm working on my cards for my Stamp-A-Stack on Friday evening and Saturday morning. So it is consuming most of my time right now, other than playing with RJ!

Have fun!

Supplies:
Stamps: Celebrations, Spunky Spots Jumbo Wheel (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Real Red, So Saffron, Whisper White

CASE Thursday, A Day Late!!

Hi! Sorry I missed you yesterday if you stopped by!! You know how it goes...Things to do, places to go, people to see!!

So I'm still going to do my CASE Thursday, even though I'm a day late! Today's CASE Thursday card comes from the Spring-Summer Collection 2008 on page 56. I changed it up a bit, but the layout is exactly the same. They used the retired Soft Sky cardstock, but I changed it to Bashful Blue. Also, I used the Little Leaves Die, instead of their stamped image. Here is my version.
It's so soft-looking! The Very Vanilla Cardstock really softens it up!
Supplies:
Stamps: Thank You Kindly, Polka Dot
Ink: Certainly Celery
Paper: Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Bashful Blue Grosgrain Ribbon, Little Leave Die, Big Shot, Dimensionals

Have a great weekend! See you tomorrow!

FTL50 & a sweet pic

Hi! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I can't believe the weather we are having here is St. Louis! Very unusual for July! I'm not complaining at all! It's wonderful!

I'm back today with a card that I created for the Fall-To-Layout #50 on the Clean & Simple Blog. When I first saw these colors on our color chart, I wasn't really crazy about them. But then I started putting the card together, and I loved them!! Warm and rich-looking colors!

Supplies:
Stamps: Circus Circus, Wow Flowers
Ink: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede
Paper: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede
Accessories: Crushed Curry Polka-Dot Ribbon, 1" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

I leave you today with a sweet picture of my RJ.
RJ was invited to a birthday party for his little friend, who turned 3. The party was at Bounce-U. At first, RJ was very intimidated by the loud music and all the activities! But he loved the air-hockey, basketball, and baseball activities. (I think we may have a little athlete on our hands!) At the end, he finally got into one of the bouncy "houses", and was bouncing up and down, and even went down the slide. We probably needed another hour after he warmed up to bouncing! But we had a great time! We enjoyed pizza and cupcakes (loaded with icing) after bouncing! I guess it was better to eat after bouncing!

Have a great day! See you tomorrow!

RJ's Playroom!

Hi! I hope you had a terrific Holiday weekend!! Ours was busy with 2 BBQ's and painting! It seems like I always get in the mood to paint during the 4th of July holiday! It happens almost every year!!! This year we decided we wanted to paint RJ's playroom. This room used to be his bedroom with his crib, but we moved him to another room and into a "big boy" bed. His old bedroom was yellow and green with a cute Froggie wallpaper border. Well, RJ took care of parts of the border when he was able to stand up in his crib. Note: don't put wallpaper at chair rail height where little hands may be able to reach it!! Needless to say, his crib was moved away from the wall! So the wallpaper was way overdue in coming down. As I was looking on the internet for different ideas for colors, I came across a room that showed horizontal stripes with a white stripe in between. I wanted to make this room bright and playful, so I turned to my Stampin' Up! colors. I picked Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie, and Green Galore. I brought my cardstock up to Home DePot, and they color-matched the paint!! I painted all the Bashful Blue and Green Galore trim, and my husband did all the rest. He did a great job! I am so happy with how it turned out! Paint makes such a big difference!

I will be back with some stampin' projects for you soon. I have my stamp club on Friday evening, so I will share those projects with you at a minimum. Still looking for 2 stamp club members! If you are interested, please let me know. I will forward the details to you! We start this Friday and will meet on the 2nd Friday each month over the next year (10 months total).
Take care and have a wonderful week!

Live, Laugh & Love

Hi! I hope you are having a great start to this Holiday weekend, and I hope many of you are off work today and enjoying the long weekend!! Did you get to sleep in a little this morning??

Here is a card that I created based on one that I saw on Nicole's blog (it's shown in an older post on her blog...I think in June last year!). I took note of the vellum punched flower on her card. She used a different punch that I didn't have, so I pulled out my 5-Petal Punch and offset 2 flowers. Nichole also used ribbon where I have my scored lines on the Whisper White Cardstock. It's difficult to see on the picture, but I have 3 scored horizontal lines in line with the Corduroy Brad. Just a nice little touch!

Supplies:
Stamps: On Your Birthday
Ink: Baja Breeze (retired)
Paper: Confetti White, Baja Breeze (retired), Whisper White, Parisian Breeze DSP (retired)
Accessories: Corner Rounder, Scoring Blade on Cutter, 5-Petal Punch, Corduroy Brads

I know...I used some retired products!!!! Sorry, I just love Baja Breeze and the Parisian Breeze DSP! I have to use it up!! If you don't have these products, just substitute for what you have and create your own little creation!

Happy Friday!
