FTL #103 for my Day-Timers!

Hi! I created this card for my Day-Time Stampin' Class that met on Tuesday morning. We stamp 3 different cards/envelopes! The other 2 cards that we stamped are the same cards that we stamped at Stamp Club this past Friday. See my previous posts for Stamp Club Projects #1 & 2. My next Day-Time Stampin' date is September 14th.

For inspiration, the card layout came from the Fall-to-Layout #103 on the Clean & Simple Blog.

For my color inspiration, I again turned to my Color Coach!!! Love it!!! It makes creating so much easier!...Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, & Early Espresso.

Supplies:
Stamps: Simply Said
Ink: Early Espresso
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Polka-Dot Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Rhinestone Jewels, Marina Mist Tafetta Ribbon, Dimensionals

I was playing around with My Digital Studio, and created this little collage to show the 3 cards that we stamped at my Day-Time Stampin' this month. Kind of a fun way to show all 2 cards together!!

A Set of Note Cards...FTL#79

Hi! I created a set of Thank You cards to share with you today. I used the Fall-to-Layout #79 on the Clean & Simple Blog as my layout for each card. I think they turned out cute!!! And you know what is the best part about this set of cards??? I used 2 entire stamp sets, and you can get them for FREE during Sale-A-Bration! I used A Flower for All Seasons (a must-have!!) and Thank You Kindly. These sets are part of the Sale-A-Bration rewards that are listed on the inside back cover of your Sale-A-Bration Mini Catalog.

Here are they are individually...

Supplies (above):
Stamps: A Flower for all Seasons, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Basic Brown, Really Rust
Paper: Kraft, Really Rust, Very Vanilla, Autumn Vine DSP (retired)
Accessories: Scallop Circles #2 Die, Big Shot, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Watercolor Crayons, Aquapainter, Dimensionals

Supplies (above):
Stamps: A Flower for all Seasons, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Basic Brown
Paper: Kraft, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Pawsitively Prints DSP
Accessories: Scallop Circles #2 Die, Big Shot, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Watercolor Crayons, Aquapainter, Dimensionals

Supplies (above):
Stamps: A Flower for all Seasons, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Jet Black Staz On, Certainly Celery
Paper: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Parisian Summer DSP (retired)
Accessories: Scallop Circles #2 Die, Big Shot, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Watercolor Crayons, Aquapainter, Dimensionals

Supplies (above):
Stamps: A Flower for all Seasons, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Jet Black Staz On, Real Red
Paper: Kraft, Real Red, Whisper White, Merry Moments DSP
Accessories: Scallop Circles #2 Die, Big Shot, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Watercolor Crayons, Aquapainter, 2-way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals
Aren't they just simply cute????
I used the Scallop Circles #2 Die with my Big Shot to layer behind the main image. The Scallop Circle Punch does not work well behind a 1-3/4" Circle.
I hope you enjoyed my little note cards!!! I'm not sure why I waited so long to order A Flower for all Seasons!! It's been on my list, so I'm glad I waited to get it for FREE!!!!!! WooHoo!!! Get yours FREE with your $50 order during Sale-A-Bration!! Contact me today!
Enjoy your day!!

FTL66...some more Holiday cards!

Hi! I really tried to share some non-Holiday cards with you today, but they just didn't photograph well! I actually have 2 cards, and for some reason the color Bermuda Bay is not photographing well at all. It looks too blue, and not enough green. So hopefully the sun will be out in the morning and I can get better pictures.

So here are a couple of Holiday cards that I worked on Sunday evening. I was playing around with the FTL66 Sketch on the Clean and Simple blog, and here is what I came up with.

Supplies (above):
Stamps: Dasher, Four the Holidays
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Very Vanilla, Merry Moments DSP
Accessories: Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, Horizontal Slot Punch, Dimensionals
Supplies (above):
Stamps: Delightful Decorations, Holidays & Wishes
Ink: Real Red, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Very Vanilla, Merry Moments DSP
Accessories: Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, Clear Rhinestones from Pretties Kit, Dimensionals

Have a great day!

FTL #66

Hi! I created this card for the Fall-To-Layout #66 on the Clean & Simple Blog!! What would I do without this blog for so much of my inspiration? I just love their weekly challenges!!

For the snowflake in the middle of the ornament, I used Stampin' Up's Shimmer Paint with a Sponge Dauber and applied it directly to the stamp. It really shimmers!!! Nice little touch! This would be a great card to mass produce for your Christmas Card. So simple and very few supplies!!!

Supplies:
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Old Olive, Real Red, Very Vanilla, Dasher DSP (retired)
Accessories: Ornament Punch, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals

I can't believe I have been able to create 2 cards this week for my blog. I have my annual Holiday Stamp-A-Stack on Friday & Saturday. It's probably my biggest event of the year, and I am usually so busy with designing my cards and cutting cardstock!!! Don't get me wrong!! I have plenty still to do, but I have ALL 5 of my cards designed, and my samples made!!! I can't believe it!! It's kind of relaxing knowing that the design part is done!! So before I head upstairs to bed, I decided to make a clean and simple card for the blog. I hope you enjoy!!

Have a great rest of the week and I'll catch you back here soon!

FTL #62

Hi! Hope you had a great weekend! Ours was a bit busy, but fun! We went to a bonfire on Saturday evening and had a good time with friends! Sunday was football, so my husband was gone watching all the games, and RJ and I headed out to find a Halloween costume for him, then headed to my parents to visit and have dinner. Edited to Add: I will post a picture or two of RJ with his costume a little later this week! I have to have the right setting. ;)

I stamped a bit on Sunday evening, and I wanted to share a card with you. It all started with a layout (FTL62) shown over at the Clean and Simple blog. Did I tell you that I love to stamp based on a layout?? :) I didn't have the large scallop punch that they used, so I punched out a few 1-3/4" circles and made it look like a large scallop. The ribbon covers up all the "ugly" stuff! The DSP is Bella Birds, which retired in August. Sorry, still have alot of paper to use up!! But this a great layout for any kind of card! Give it a try!

Supplies:
Stamps: Sincere Salutations
Ink: Bordering Blue
Paper: Bordering Blue, Bella Birds DSP (retired)
Accessories: Pink Pirouette Ribbon (retired), Buttons, Linen Thread, Bordering Blue Stampin' Write Marker

Have a great Monday!

FTL #63 for my husband's birthday!

Hi again! Here is a card using the Fall-to-Layout #63 on the Clean and Simple Blog. I just love using sketches as my inspiration to stamp! And the Clean & Simple sketches are perfect for me! I love the simplicity! You can keep them as simple as they are or you can use the sketch as a starting point to create something more involved! They are great!

I created this card for my husband. It was his birthday on Friday. The colors are Bordering Blue, Night of Navy, Brushed Silver, & Whisper White. I outlined the sentiment with my Silver Zig Painty marker.
Supplies:
Stamps: Wanted, A Little Birthday Cheer
Ink: Night of Navy, Bordering Blue, Silver Colorbox
Paper: Bordering Blue, Night of Navy, Brushed Silver, Whisper White
Accessories: Star Brads, Dimensionals

Hope you are having a great weekend!

FTL50 & a sweet pic

Hi! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I can't believe the weather we are having here is St. Louis! Very unusual for July! I'm not complaining at all! It's wonderful!

I'm back today with a card that I created for the Fall-To-Layout #50 on the Clean & Simple Blog. When I first saw these colors on our color chart, I wasn't really crazy about them. But then I started putting the card together, and I loved them!! Warm and rich-looking colors!

Supplies:
Stamps: Circus Circus, Wow Flowers
Ink: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede
Paper: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede
Accessories: Crushed Curry Polka-Dot Ribbon, 1" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

I leave you today with a sweet picture of my RJ.
RJ was invited to a birthday party for his little friend, who turned 3. The party was at Bounce-U. At first, RJ was very intimidated by the loud music and all the activities! But he loved the air-hockey, basketball, and baseball activities. (I think we may have a little athlete on our hands!) At the end, he finally got into one of the bouncy "houses", and was bouncing up and down, and even went down the slide. We probably needed another hour after he warmed up to bouncing! But we had a great time! We enjoyed pizza and cupcakes (loaded with icing) after bouncing! I guess it was better to eat after bouncing!

Have a great day! See you tomorrow!

FTL#49 & Remembering Groovy Guava!

Hi! Remember Groovy Guava? Stampin' Up! comes up with great In-Colors, don't you think? But sometimes it's so difficult to say goodbye. I still have some retired In-Colors, and it makes me feel so good to use some of it!!!

I'm a little late in playing with last week's Fall-To-Layout on the Clean & Simple blog, but better late than never! The following card plays along with FTL#49. Again, there are so many possibilties for this layout! I love it! To color the image, I used my Blender Pen to pick up the ink from the lid of the pad.

Supplies:
Stamps: Embrace Life, Warmest Regards
Ink: Basic Brown, Ruby Red, Groovy Guava, Mellow Moss
Paper: Groovy Guava, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla, Ginger Blossom DSP (retired)
Accessories: Scallop Border Punch, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Blender Pen, Dimensionals

Have a great week!

FTL48 & a little visitor!

Hi! I created a card based on the Fall-to-Layout #48 on the Clean & Simple Blog. As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew I wanted to use my NEW Circus Circus stamp set!!! It will be in the new catalog and will be available on July 1st. I also used the NEW In-Colors! Aren't they just pretty?! If you place an order with me in the last 6 months, I have a catalog waiting for you. If you would like to have a catalog, cost is $5 or FREE with any order! If you pay for a catalog, I will take $5 off your first order!
Supplies:
Stamps: Circus Circus, Upsy Daisy (sentiment)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry
Paper: Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo
Accessories: Scallop Circle Die with Big Shot, Circle Scissors Plus, 1-1/4", 1", & 1/2" Circle Punches, Dimensionals
As I was taking pictures of my cards, I noticed I had a little visitor looking on! (I'm so glad I had my camera with me!) I love when I see my deer!!! I haven't seen them around our house in a while, so I was beginning to get a little worried!! Last year, Mama and her two babies were in our backyard almost every day! I loved it!! I saw the 2 babies grow very quickly! But I haven't seen them in quite some time. So I was glad to see a new little baby. I'm sure her mama was keeping an eye on her from the woods. The baby scurried back into the woods when RJ wanted to get a closer look!
Hope you are having a great day!!! It's a short week, so hang in there!!!
