A Butterfly CASE from Angie's blog!

Hi!!  I was browsing some of my favorite stampin' blogs the other day, and I came across THESE cards on Angie Juda's Blog.  They are so cute!!!  I recreated her cards with the supplies that I had, and I'm very happy with how it turned out!!  It's difficult to see in the picture, but for the butterfly, I stamped the solid butterfly image off in Wisteria Wonder to get a lighter tone.  Then I stamped the polka dots on top.
Looks better in person!!  :)

Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush, Whisper White

another Triple Layer Punch creation!

Hi!!  Hope your week is going well for you!  It's a tad warm here in the Midwest, with temperatures reaching mid 90's!!!  But it makes for fun times at the pool or just running through the sprinkler!

Here is another idea for the Triple Layer Punch!  I adhered all the punched pieces to the Designer Series Paper before running the Embossing Folder through the Big Shot.  Great effect!!  And something different using DSP instead of solid cardstock for this technique.

Supplies:
Stamps: On Your Birthday
Ink: Tempting Turquoise
Paper: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Pawsitively Prints II DSP
Accessories: Top Note Die, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Rhinestone Jewels, Dimensionals

Enjoy your day!!

A pretty card...great for a wedding!

Over the weekend, I attended a fabulous Demonstrator event hosted by Sally, one of my downline!  Mary, another one of downline, was Sally's sidekick, and together they put together an amazing Demonstrator event which included some great Demonstrations, a little business talk, some fabulous make & takes, and a delicious lunch!!!  Many thanks to Sally & Mary!

At this event, there were several of us who brought some displays which showcased some great ideas.  My card today is one that was displayed by my stampin' friend and sideline (we have the same upline), Sarah.  I changed the card a bit by turning the embossing folder, adding pearls, and using a different sentiment.  I really like how it turned out!!  This is going to make a very pretty wedding card for someone special!!  Thanks Sarah for the inspiration!!
Supplies:
Stamps: Sincere Salutations
Ink: Crumb Cake
Paper: Very Vanilla
Accessories: Finial Press Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Pearl Jewels

So pretty!!!

Enjoy your day!!

Accessories: Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Square Scallop Punch, 3/4", 1", 1-3/8", 2-1/2" Circle Punches, Dimensionals

Stamp-A-Stack Card #2 - Just Believe

Hi! Here is Card #2 from my Stamp-A-Stack. I was inspired by a card that I saw online that had the small punched flowers, as shown on my card. I changed my card up a bit with a different Embossing Folder and the Ribbon Punch. Unfortunately I cannot give credit to the person who gave me inspiration for this card, because I cannot find where I saw this card!! If I find it, I will make sure to post it.

ETA: I found it!! While I was searching my favorite blogs, I found the card that inspired me to create this card!! Yay!! Go check out Jackie's card HERE!

Supplies:
Stamp: Just Believe
Ink: Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Finial Press Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Pearls, Dimensionals

I stamped the floral image twice, so that I could cut one of the rectangle sentiments out and pop it up on Dimensionals. Adds a little touch!

Hope you are having a great day!!

The following was inspired by LeeAnn Greff. You can see her project HERE.

Supplies:
Stamps: Charming, All Holidays
Ink: Marnina Mist, Pear Pizzaz and Marina Mist Stampin' Write Markers
Paper: Pear Pizzaz, Marina Mist, Whisper White, Subtles Patterns DSP Stack
Accessories: Framed Tulip Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals

I'll be back tomorrow to share with you another stamp club project!!

Three Little Words...

Hi! I was inspired by Mercedes Weber to create this pretty card. I actually saw her card on Stampin' Connection (community for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators), but she does have a blog too! You can check her creations out HERE!! But HERE is the blog post showing her card that I was inspired from. Her card is beautiful!! She used fabric for the butterfly! I changed the colors, sentiment, and DSP.

Supplies:
Stamps: Three Little Words
Ink: Always Artichoke
Paper: Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze, Springtime Vintage DSP
Accessories: Top Note Die, Vintage Wallpaper Emboss Folder, Beautiful Wings Die, Big Shot, Very Vanilla Tafetta Ribbon, Dimensionals

For the butterfly, I used a glue stick to adhere the DSP on top of some cardstock. Then I ran it through the Big Shot with the Beautiful Wings Die. This gave it a little more thickness, so that I could easily wrap the ribbon around the cardstock.

Hope you are all staying warm this weekend!! We are expecting more snow on Sunday evening!! I sure hope the kids go back to school on Monday!!

Take care,
Karen

Halloween Stamp Club Project!

Hi! I just love how this little project turned out!!! I played around with this project for a couple of days until I was happy with it. I knew I wanted to make a Halloween tag to attach to my new Mini Lunch Sacks, so the bag doesn't have to be ripped open to get to the treats!!! There are no holes punched through the bag with ribbon to hold it closed. Just these cute little clothes pins that I found in the office supply section at WalMart. I added a little strip of Designer Series Paper to the front of the clothes pin, and that was the final touch that I needed to make me happy!! Plus the little jewels on the shoes are awesome too!!
So here is the little treat bag that we created at my Friday night stamp club.

The tag really shimmers!!!! It's difficult to show in the photo, but I lightly sponged the raised edges of the spider web with Frost White Shimmer Paint and a sponge dauber, but then I spritzed some Smooch Spritz to add even more shimmer!! Love it!!

Supplies:
Stamps: Wicked Cool
Ink: Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry Marker
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Whisper White, Wicked Fun Specialty DSP
Accessories: Spider Web Embossing Folder, Scallop Circles #2 Die, Big Shot, 1-3/4", 1-3/8", 1-1/4" Circle Punches, Black Flourish Designer Jewels, Raven Lace Trim, Sticky Strip,Frost White Shimmer Paint, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz, Rich Razzleberry Satin Ribbon, Horizontal Slot Punch

I also wanted to share a card with you from another Demonstrator that I received in our Buddy Swap. I host a Buddy Swap each month, and Judy Sumner had my name and sent me this adorable card! I thought it went perfectly with my treat bag!! Thanks Judy!

I also added the Textured Embossing Folder on the Marina Mist cardstock, and added a layer of Pear Pizzazz behind the white cardstock. I love how the So Saffron flower is popped off the white!!

FTL #103 for my Day-Timers!

Hi! I created this card for my Day-Time Stampin' Class that met on Tuesday morning. We stamp 3 different cards/envelopes! The other 2 cards that we stamped are the same cards that we stamped at Stamp Club this past Friday. See my previous posts for Stamp Club Projects #1 & 2. My next Day-Time Stampin' date is September 14th.

For inspiration, the card layout came from the Fall-to-Layout #103 on the Clean & Simple Blog.

For my color inspiration, I again turned to my Color Coach!!! Love it!!! It makes creating so much easier!...Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, & Early Espresso.

Supplies:
Stamps: Simply Said
Ink: Early Espresso
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Polka-Dot Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Rhinestone Jewels, Marina Mist Tafetta Ribbon, Dimensionals

I was playing around with My Digital Studio, and created this little collage to show the 3 cards that we stamped at my Day-Time Stampin' this month. Kind of a fun way to show all 2 cards together!!

Thanks for stopping by today!! Enjoy you day!
