Inspired at Archivers!

Hi! Long time, no post! How is everybody doing? Waiting for the "big" snow storm??!! LOL! I wanted to share a card with you that I recreated using all supplies from Stampin' Up!. The original card came from Archivers. I had to go there to use my coupon for free cardstock before the end of the month. I hate to pass them up!! Well, when I walked in, they were having a free make & take. Again, I like all things free!! So I took a few minutes and made the make & take. As I was stamping, I was thinking about what I could use at home to recreate this card. So here are my Stampin' Up! versions:

Supplies:
Stamps: Embrace Life, Sincere Salutations
Ink: Versamark, Basic Black Craft
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Scallop Border Punch, White Gel Pen, Black Embossing Powder, White Organza Ribbon, Rhinestone Brads, Dimensionals

For the second card, I used Crystal Effects with Dazzling Diamonds on the cut-out image. And I just used Crystal Effects on the images stamped in the background. Looks like little dew drops! It's really pretty in real life.

Supplies:
Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Sincere Salutations
Ink: Versamark, Basic Black Craft
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Scallop Border Punch, 1/8" Circle Punch, White Taffeta Ribbon, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals

Here is the original card from Archivers. I don't know any details, but I really like it. Don't look at the smudge at the bottom of the card. The very last thing I did on this card was stamp the sentiment in a pigment ink and I smudged it!!!! I hate when that happens!

Hope you have a great rest of the weekend! I have another card to share with you a little later.

Another inspiration from Stampin' Success

Hi! I'm back to show you the 3 cards that we stamped at my Day-Time Stampin' Class this morning. Thanks to all the ladies who attended! I really appreciate it! The details for the cards on the left and right can be seen in recent previous posts. The details for the card in the middle can be seen below in this post.

For this card, my inspiration came from the back cover of Stampin' Up's Stampin' Success March 2009. Stampin' Success is a monthly publication for Stampin' Up! demonstrators. It is loaded with inspiration. With Stampin' Up!, we never run out of ideas! The card shown on the back cover was a small square card using Botanical Blossoms. I changed the size of the card and used Heartfelt Thanks. I also changed the border punch from the Scallop Edge punch to the Eyelet Border Punch.

Supplies:
Stamps: Heartfelt Thanks, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red & Mellow Moss Markers
Paper: Ruby Red, Blush Blossom, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, White Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals, Stamp-a-ma-jig
Hope you enjoyed this beautiful weather today!! I only wish it would stay for awhile!

Friday Night Stamp Club Projects!!

Hi! I'm here to show you the projects that we will be stamping at tonight's Stamp Club. I love getting together with these ladies. They are so much fun!!!! It really makes my week!

Here is the first one...
This is a stair-step card. Isn't it cute? I'm so glad there is someone out there coming up with these cute ideas!! You take a 4-1/4 x 11 piece of cardstock and score at 1-3/8", 2-1/2", 4-3/8", 6 & 8-1/4". Then you just decorate and embellish! It's quite simple!
Supplies:
Stamps: Party Hearty
Ink: Chocolate Chip (marker & pad), Regal Rose (marker & pad), Pumpkin Pie (marker)
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, and Sweet Always DSP (Love it!)
Accessories: Big Shot with Scallop Circle #2 Die, Scallop Circle Punch, Tag Punch, Small Tag Punch, Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Paper Snips, Dimensionals

Here's the 2nd project...
I was inspired by a card that I saw here on SCS. I just simpified it a bit and changed the paper. I love the softness of this card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Botanical Blooms & Curvy Verses
Ink: Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery
Paper: Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Washington Apple DSP
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, 1-3/8" Square Punch, Word Window Punch, Corner Rounder, White Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals

Last but not least...
This adorable little purse is created by 2 Scallop Envelopes cut from my Big Shot. The directions can be found on Lynn's Blog. I made a coordinating 3x3 Note Card to give to my Stamp Club for my swap card. You can't see what is inside the purse, but the little Giradelli's Squares fit perfectly! Yum!
Supplies:
Stamps: Sweet Stems
Ink: Jet Black Staz-On, Almost Amesthyst & So Saffron markers
Paper: Almost Amethyst, So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Tea Party DSP
Accessories: Wide Oval Punch, Big Shot with Scallop Envelope Die, Scallop Edge Punch (for card), Dimensionals

We will also be stamping the first 2 cards at my Day-Time Stampin' class on Tuesday, March 17th. Please let me know if you can stop by at about 10:00 a.m. to create these cards. There will be 3 cards/envelopes to stamp. Cost is only $5!! Hope to see you!
I hope you enjoyed these projects today! Leave me a comment some time so that I know you are visiting! Would love to hear from you. Just drop a note to say hi!

All 5 Stamp-A-Stack cards

Hi! Hope you are all having a fantastic weekend! Here are my 5 cards that we stamped at my Stamp-A-Stack this weekend. Enjoy!

#1

For this card, I was inspired by a card that I saw on the Clean and Simple blog. Check it out! It's a great blog!
Supplies (all by Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly, Sincere Saluations
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Whisper White Craft
Paper: Confetti White, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Pink Pirouette
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, White Gel Pen, Paper Snips, Dimensionals

#2
Look on page 132 of the Spring-Summer 2009 Idea Book & Catalog, you will see where the idea for this card came from. I just changed it a bit to go with the supplies that I had on hand.
Supplies (all by Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: Celebrate Everything, One of a Kind
Ink: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Whisper White
Accessories: 1/4" Circle Punch (retired), Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon

#3
Splitcoaststampers has a gallery for clean and simple cards, and they host a weekly sketch. This card follows the sketch that was posted last week. The picture did not turn out too great. You can't see the embossed tempting turquoise cardstock really well. I used my Textuz Plates and my Big Shot. The two So Saffron Stars are popped up on Dimensionals. I absolutely love this card!!
Supplies (all by Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: Birthday Wish ($6.95 in the Under $10 section of the catalog...love it!)
Ink: Real Red
Paper: So Saffron, Real Red, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: Star Punch, Large Star Punch, Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Texturz Background Plates I with Big Shot, Dimensionals

#4
This card came from a card that I liked on Kristina Werner's blog. I met her at convention last year! She is a sweetheart! There is not a day that goes by that I don't visit her blog. She is super-talented and I love her cards. They are so clean and crisp. Here is her card. I again changed it a bit for my version.
Supplies (all by Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: A Little Birthday Wish
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Hawaii Papaya (retired)
Accessories: Scallop Border Punch, Cherry Blossom Die with Big Shot, 1/4" Circle Punch (retired), Crystal Effects, Dimensionals

last, but not least...#5

I saw this card on SCS, and loved the layout. Did I tell you I love to look for layouts that I like and recreate them??? LOL!!! That is how I work!!! Again, it's difficult to see in the picture, but I used one of the Texturz Plates on the Kiwi Kiss Cardstock.
Supplies (all by Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: Botanical Blooms (free set during Sale-A-Bration!)
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Paper Piercing Tools, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Pink Pirouette Striped Ribbon, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Jumbo Eyelets, Crop-o-dile, Dimensionals

I hope you enjoyed these cards, and it has given you some inspiration to stamp a couple of your own cards. Please leave me a comment and tell me which one is your favorite!! I would love to hear from you! It's really easy to leave a comment.

Have a great week!
