Convention Swap

Hi! I'm back from one of the best conventions that I have ever been to!!!! Convention 2010 was amazing!!! I feel energized and excited!! Thank you Stampin' Up! for a truly wonderful experience!

Here is one of the cards that I brought with me to swap amongst the almost 3000 Demonstrators at convention. I only made about 20 of these at the last minute. I wish I would have made alot more, but time ran out!! I took a total of about 95 swaps (4 different designs) with me to Salt Lake City. I'll share a few of my favorites that I received in the next couple of days or so.

It's difficult to see in the photo, but I sponged Frost White Shimmer Paint on the Scallop Oval to give it some shimmer.

Supplies:
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Sincere Salutations
Ink: Craft White, Baja Breeze
Paper: Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Accessories: White Satin Ribbon, Scallop Oval Ribbon, Large Oval Ribbon, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Sponge Dauber, Dimensionals

Thanks for visiting!!!

Fifth Avenue Style - Nichole Style!

Hi! I had some quality stampin' time in my stampin' area last night! Yeah! It always makes me feel good!! I saw these pretty cards on Nichole's blog, and thought I would recreate them with Stampin' Up! stamps! Nichole is one talented girl! I look forward to her new releases and countdown starting on the 10th of each month. She comes up with some amazing ideas!

I just love the first one made with Rich Razzleberry and Sahara Sand. The others are created with Kraft cardstock. I used Vanilla Craft ink on the flowers.

Supplies:
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Fundamental Phrases
Ink: Very Vanilla Craft Ink, Rich Razzleberry, (Real Red), (Chocolate Chip)
Paper: Sahara Sand, Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla, (Kraft & Real Red), (Kraft & Chocolate Chip)
Accessories: Modern Label Punch, Vintage Brads, Dimensionals

I like it! Clean & simple! Makes great wedding or anniversary cards!

Have a great day! I'm scheduling another post for Thursday. I don't think I'm going to have time for my CASE Thursday, but will definitely have something new to share with you! I'm working on my cards for my Stamp-A-Stack on Friday evening and Saturday morning. So it is consuming most of my time right now, other than playing with RJ!

Have fun!

Beautiful Rose!

Hi! Sorry for not sharing a new project with you for a week! But I do appreciate you visiting! Really I do!! So keep coming back. It's you that really keeps me stamping!!

Here is a card that I created after I saw a similar card on Deb's blog, ARTfelt Impressions. She has some good stuff! I just tweeked mine a bit and used the supplies that I had on-hand. Her card is so pretty. Go take a look here!

This card is so purty in real life. The rose is created from Shimmery White Cardstock. I wish you could see the shimmer! You can see a video tutorial by Patty Bennett, showing how to create this beautiful rose! It's quite simple...just need a little patience to allow it to dry! While I was embossing the rose, I made a few extra to play around with different colors. I'm so excited!

Supplies:
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Warmest Regards (retired)
Ink: White Craft Pad, Rose Red pad, Reinkers: Rose Red & Regal Rose
Paper: Kraft, Confetti White, Certainly Celery, Shimmery White, Pink Pirouette Patterns DSP
Accessories: Top Note Die, Little Leaves Die, Texturz Plates, Big Shot, Clear Embossing Powder, White Taffeta Ribbon, Corner Rounder, Dimensionals, Aquapainter

The Little Leaves are attached to the back of the rose using Dimensionals. Makes it easy!

So now it's your turn! Go give it a try! You will love that you did!

Have a great weekend! I have another card posted for Saturday night!
