Simple "from the heart"

Hi!! Hope you have had a great start to your week!! I have a card to share with you today! I was inspired to make this card when I saw the cover of my February Stampin' Success (for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators only). Stampin' Up! uses the Sending Love Notes that are in the Occasions Mini Catalog, but I didn't have any. (I will be sure to order some on my next order though!!!) I used my Note Cards that are in the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog on page 168. The card measures 5"x3-1/2". These Note Cards come in a package of 20 scored Whisper White cards and 20 envelopes, all for $5.95. What a deal! And these are the perfect size when you are making a clean and simple card and don't want too much "white" space.

Don't forget...if you order the I {Heart} Heart stamp set, Stampin' Up! will donate $2 from each set to help the victims of the terrible earthquake that struck Haiti.

Supplies:
Stamps: I {heart} Hearts, Holidays & Wishes (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery
Paper: Whisper White Note Cards, Real Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Heart to Heart Punch, Bold Bright Buttons, Linen Thread

Tip: I stamped "off" on the Real Red heart, so that it would kind of "blend" with the other colors, and not be so bright. And I wanted a little more contrast in front of the Real Red cardstock.

Have a great day!

Love you Much...

Hi! I've seen several cards using this same layout and I wanted to create one for myself. I wish this picture would show the "sparkle" in the Designer Paper. This paper is the Specialty Designer Series Paper called Sending Love. You will find it in the Occasion Mini Catalog. It's so pretty!!! I punched out (4) 1-1/4" squares and adhered them side by side...sparkle side up!! :)

I {Heart} Hearts is a stamp set that Stampin' Up! has selected to help provide some relief for those who are affected by the earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12th. From now until the end of February, Stampin' Up! will donate $2 from the sales of each stamp set sold, to the American Red Cross' Haiti and Relief Development Fund. In addition to donating portions of the proceeds of this particular stamp set, Stampin' Up! is providing 5000 hygiene kits to those who have been affected by this devastating earthquake. What a great company!!!!!!! Contact me if you would like to order I {Heart} Hearts and give a little help to those whose lives have been turned upside down by this tragedy. A little from a lot of people will make a BIG difference.

Snowman Treats!!

Hi! I wanted to share with you something that I gave to each of my stamp club friends this past Friday at stamp club. A few weeks ago, I saw these cute little snowmen on Nancy's blog. Each Sunday, Nancy posts a selection of her favorite Stampin' Up cards and projects. Well, this little cutie made it to her favorites, and I thought it would be a perfect project to make for my stamp club friends. You can click here to see the blog where Nancy selected one of her favorites.

Aren't these just adorable??? I actually drew the face and buttons on each circle with Stampin' Write Markers. If you have the stamp set, Cold Play, it would work perfectly for this project!! I definitely plan on making more of these next winter!! Better yet, I'm going to make some with a Valentine's theme. Wouldn't that be cute? A Peppermint Patty is sandwiched between 2 Scallop Circles. Each little sandwich is slid into a pretzel bag to assemble into a snowman. You can find the little bags in the cake decorating aisle in your local craft store. I cut about an inch off the top of each bag, then tied a bow.
Supplies:
Stamps: Serene Snowflakes
Ink: Bashful Blue, Stampin' Write Markers: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Bashful Blue Striped Ribbon
Hope this project puts a smile on your face!!!!
Have a great day!
