2 cards for you today!

Hi! I have 2 cards to show to you today! I really like the first one. The second one is "so-so", but it's prettier in real life! I couldn't edit the photo to make it look good. I'm still learning.

I saw a cute card in a Cards magazine that I picked up from our local craft store. I loved the layout and thought I would play around and see what I could come up with. Doesn't that DSP make you dizzy??? LOL! But I love the modern feel of this card. Love the colors...Kraft, Rose Red, and Soft Suede! My February Stampin' Buddy will be receiving this first card in the mail soon!!! ;)
Supplies:
Stamps: Circle Circus, All Holidays
Ink: Rose Red, Soft Suede
Paper: Kraft, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Thoroughly Modern DSP
Accessories: 1/2", 3/4", 1-1/4", & 1-3/8" Circle Punches, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive

Supplies:
Stamps: All Holidays
Ink: Rose Red
Paper: Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Tea Party DSP
Accessories: Rose Red Grosgrain Ribbon, 2-way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds

Hope you are having a great week!

CIRCLE Circus...not Circus Circus!

Hi! Here is a card that made the cut to my Stamp-A-Stack this weekend. So if you are coming, here is a little sneak peak of what you will be stamping! I hope you like it! It's a great guy card! My inspiration came from this card on Splitcoaststampers. I only changed the colors. :)

Supplies:
Stamps: Circle Circus, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Dusty Durango, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, Whisper White
Accessories: Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon (only one accessory...that's a first!)

Ok, so I have been calling this stamp set the wrong name since it first came out! Don't tell me I'm the only one who thought this!! Come on, fess up! LOL! I learned last week that the correct name is CIRCLE Circus...not Circus Circus. I challenged my upline to the name of this set...and I lost!!! But if you look at the set, Circle Circus makes more sense! LOL!

Have a great Thursday! See you soon!

FTL50 & a sweet pic

Hi! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I can't believe the weather we are having here is St. Louis! Very unusual for July! I'm not complaining at all! It's wonderful!

I'm back today with a card that I created for the Fall-To-Layout #50 on the Clean & Simple Blog. When I first saw these colors on our color chart, I wasn't really crazy about them. But then I started putting the card together, and I loved them!! Warm and rich-looking colors!

Supplies:
Stamps: Circus Circus, Wow Flowers
Ink: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede
Paper: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede
Accessories: Crushed Curry Polka-Dot Ribbon, 1" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

I leave you today with a sweet picture of my RJ.
RJ was invited to a birthday party for his little friend, who turned 3. The party was at Bounce-U. At first, RJ was very intimidated by the loud music and all the activities! But he loved the air-hockey, basketball, and baseball activities. (I think we may have a little athlete on our hands!) At the end, he finally got into one of the bouncy "houses", and was bouncing up and down, and even went down the slide. We probably needed another hour after he warmed up to bouncing! But we had a great time! We enjoyed pizza and cupcakes (loaded with icing) after bouncing! I guess it was better to eat after bouncing!

Have a great day! See you tomorrow!

on your Birthday...

Hi! Here is one of the 3 projects that we will be creating at stamp club tonight. This will also be one of the cards that we will be stamping at my Day-Time Stampin' Class on Tuesday morning. This entire card (well, except the little jewel in the middle of the scallop image) is new. I used the new In-Colors, a new stamp set, new ribbon, and a new punch. Oh, the sentiment is new to me, but it was in the previous catalog. The inspiration for my card came from this card that I saw on SCS. I recently came across Angela's gallery and I love her style!

Supplies:
Stamps: Circus Circus, On Your Birthday
Ink: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Accessories: 1-3/4" & 1-1/4" Circle Punches, Scallop Circle Punch, Rich Razzleberry Polka-dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Modern Label Punch, Dimensionals, Rhinestone Jewel (non-SU)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

FTL48 & a little visitor!

Hi! I created a card based on the Fall-to-Layout #48 on the Clean & Simple Blog. As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew I wanted to use my NEW Circus Circus stamp set!!! It will be in the new catalog and will be available on July 1st. I also used the NEW In-Colors! Aren't they just pretty?! If you place an order with me in the last 6 months, I have a catalog waiting for you. If you would like to have a catalog, cost is $5 or FREE with any order! If you pay for a catalog, I will take $5 off your first order!
Supplies:
Stamps: Circus Circus, Upsy Daisy (sentiment)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry
Paper: Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo
Accessories: Scallop Circle Die with Big Shot, Circle Scissors Plus, 1-1/4", 1", & 1/2" Circle Punches, Dimensionals
As I was taking pictures of my cards, I noticed I had a little visitor looking on! (I'm so glad I had my camera with me!) I love when I see my deer!!! I haven't seen them around our house in a while, so I was beginning to get a little worried!! Last year, Mama and her two babies were in our backyard almost every day! I loved it!! I saw the 2 babies grow very quickly! But I haven't seen them in quite some time. So I was glad to see a new little baby. I'm sure her mama was keeping an eye on her from the woods. The baby scurried back into the woods when RJ wanted to get a closer look!
Hope you are having a great day!!! It's a short week, so hang in there!!!
