a pretty flower...clean and simple!

Hi!  Did everyone has a nice Easter???  We didn't get the Easter egg hunt in due to the rain and storms, but it was still nice.  Did you hear about the tornados that ripped through areas in St. Louis?  It's just awful.  Please keep the families that were affected by this terrible freak of nature in your thoughts!  There were no fatalities (Thank goodness!), but alot of people lost their homes.  So alot of positive energy needs to be sent to those who are affected by the recent tornados.  Keep them in your thoughts.  My husband and I were actually on a date night at the movies when all of this was taking place.  The movie was actually paused so that everyone could go out to the main corridor while the sirens were going off.  A little scary!

Ok, let's get onto some card-making!!!  Here is a very simple card for you.  I need a couple of different swap cards coming up for a gathering and stamp club, so this may be a good candidate for one of them!

I visit Gretchen's Blog a couple times a week, and I really like her clean style!  She inspires me to create my own cards with my Stampin' Up! products.  Here is one of them!!!  Check out Gretchen's card HERE!

Supplies:
Stamps: Bring on the Cake
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Daffodil Delight
Accessories: Little Leaves Die, Floral Fusion Die, Big Shot, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Rhinestone Jewels, Dimensionals

I leave you today with a picture of my handsome boy on Easter morning!!  That silly Easter Bunny hid a basket for him in the shower!!

Take care and have a great week!  I hope the sun makes an appearance some time this week!!

Paper: So Saffron, Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Pawsitively Prints DSP
Accessories: Floral Fusion Die, Little Leave Die, Big Shot, Pearl Jewels, Poppy Parade Stitched-Poly Ribbon, Dimensionals

Day-Time Stampin' Card

Hi!  How is everyone today???  Hope you are all enjoying your day and getting a little stampin' in!!  Here is a card that I created for my monthly Tuesday morning class.  Although this card is a little different...I added a couple of butterflies.  I just wasn't extremely happy with this card at my class.  So after everyone left, I started fiddling around with it...it just seemed like it was missing something!!  Unfortunately I didn't take a "before" picture.  I still don't think I am happy with it!!!  I have high standards!!  LOL!!!

For the little tag, I printed a bunch of words like "For You", "Sister", "Mom", "Daughter", "Bride", "Grandma"...you get the idea, on Whisper White Cardstock, so that each stamper could pick what they wanted for their card.

Inspired by Mary Browns card.  Check her card out HERE!

Supplies:
Stamps: Flowers Awash
Ink: Bashful Blue, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzaz
Paper: Whisper White, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Elegant Bouquet Emboss Folder, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Bashful Blue Satin Ribbon, Jewelry Tag Punch, Linen Thread, Dimensionals, Pearl Jewels
Here is a recap of the cards that we stamped at my Day-Time Stampin' Class in April...

Enjoy your day!!

another Day-Time & Stamp Club card

Hi!  Here is another card that we created at my monthly classes this month.  You've seen this card already, but it had a Build-a-Brad in the center of the flower.  I didn't have enough Build-A-Brads for everybody, so we simplified it a bit with a punched image in the center, and popped it up with a Dimensional.  It would be really pretty with some Crystal Effects and/or Dazzling Diamonds Glitter!

To assemble the flower, use a 1-3/8" Circle behind the petals to support them.  Load your circle up with adhesive, then place one petal at a time on the circle.  You'll have 2 layers of petals...5 on the bottom and 5 on the top.  Then top it off with the 1/2" punched circle to hide the "uglies"!!  Isn't she pretty???

If you want to see the original post for this card, go HERE!  The Build a Blossom stamp set and Blossom Petals Punch is in the Occasions Mini Catalog, which is good through April 30th.  So don't hesitate to order these products if you like them!  They may not be included with the carry-over products!  You can go HERE to place your order!  Oh, and do you like that sentiment and that embossing folder???  They are both products in the Occasions Mini Catalog too!  So don't miss out and order today!

Supplies:
Stamps: Build a Blossom, Bring on the Cake
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Bring on the Cake
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories: Framed Tulip, Big Shot (who doesn't have one??), Blossom Petals Punch, 1-3/8" & 1/2" Circle Punches, Dimensionals

See you later!

Day-Time & Stamp Club card

Hi! How is everyone today???  Hope you are all doing great and enjoying your day!  I'm here today to share with you a couple of cards that we stamped at my monthly class and stamp club.  My good friend, Rita, inspired me!!!  She did her card in Black/White, which is so elegant-looking!!  I didn't have the Neutrals Designer Series Patterns Paper, so I went with what I had on hand...the Regals DSP.  We did the Bravo Burgundy in my Tuesday morning Day-Time class and the Night of Navy in my stamp club.  They are both created on Very Vanilla cardstock!!  So classy, aren't they??

I hope you were able to get this stamp set for free!!!  I got mine during Sale-A-Bration!!!  If not, you can order it on-line HERE!!  It's only $12.95!!  It makes some classy cards!

Supplies:
Stamps: Engraved Greetings
Ink: Bravo Burgundy, (Night of Navy)
Paper: Very Vanilla,  Bravo Burgundy, Regals DSP pack, (Night of Navy, Night of Navy DSP pack)
Accessories: Bravo Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon, (Night of Navy Grosgrain Ribbon), Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals

Nice cards, don't you think?  And so easy!

A pretty Elizabeth!

Hi! A simple card for you today! I saw a similar card on Stampin' Connection, an on-line community for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. If you are a Demonstrator, you can look up Kathy's beautiful cards by searching K Kathy Baker. Funny thing...when I looked up Kathy's profile to give her credit for her cards, I thought...I know her from somewhere!!! We met each other at convention last year! Then we kept running into each other during convention and stayed at the same hotel!! We were even on the same flight from Salt Lake City to Texas. She is from Texas, and then I had to catch another flight to St. Louis. Now that I think about it, I think we met at the airport when we arrived in Salt Lake City, and rode on the same shuttle to our hotel!!! It's funny how we kept seeing each other during convention out of the several thousand Demonstrators that were there!! It's good to reconnect with you again, Kathy!! Supplies: Stamps: Elizabeth, Teeny Tiny Wishes Ink: Marina Mist, (Perfect Plum) Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist, (Perfect Plum) Accessories: Large Oval Punch, Small Oval Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Pearl Rhinestones, Dimensionals
So simple...so pretty!!!
Have a great weekend!!
