Happy Father's Day!
Hi! Hope you had a great day today on this Father's Day!! We had a fun day!! We went out for lunch at Outback Steakhouse, then to my parents to spend some time with my dad. It's a hot one in St. Louis today!
Here is my Father's Day card that I created for my Dad! I was inspired by Jennifer Timko's card shown HERE. I love the simple design and layout. I just changed the words, colors, and ribbon.
Supplies:
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, All Year Cheer II (retired)
Ink: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Naturals Ivory
Accessories: Alpine Ribbon Originals (retired), Horizontal Slot Punch (retired), Dimensionals
Here are a couple of pictures from Father's Day today. The first one is of me and my wonderful Dad!! And the second picture is of RJ and his Daddy!
Can't believe the weekend is about over! It's going to be a busy week! We have out of town relatives coming in town for a family reunion that will take place on Saturday! It's going to be fun to see my cousins that I have not seen in about 18 years!!!
Take care and have a great week!

Simple & Pretty!
Hi! Just wanted to stop in and share a card with you. I created this card for my June Day-Time Stampin' Class. It's very simple, but so pretty!! I saw a similar card by Sandi McDonald on Stampin' Connection (a community for SU! Demonstrators only). Sandi used the stamp set Embrace Life on her card with different colors. I was going for a softer look, so I paired So Saffron with Kraft.
Supplies:
Stamps: Of the Earth, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: So Saffron, Basic Brown
Paper: Kraft, So Saffron, Whisper White
Accessories: Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die, Big Shot, Eyelet Border Punch, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Dimensionals
Have a great weekend!! I'm starting my weekend by stamping with some of my stampin' buddies tonight. I will be going to convention with Mary & Sally this year! I'm so excited! They are coming over tonight to work on our swaps to bring along to convention!!! I hope to bring back some great ideas with me!!!

Sweet Scoops!
Hi! What a great day it has been!! We started off the day by picking up my parents and meeting my sister, niece & nephew at a Lavender Farm this morning. It was a beautiful day!! I packed a picnic lunch, we spread out blankets and ate our lunch overlooking some lavender fields. It was great to be outside with no rain!!! We enjoyed some frozed custard and did a little shopping, then I took a little nap at my parents house while RJ played with his Grandma!! Life was pretty good today, huh??
Here is a card that we created at my stamp club and Day-Time Stampin' class this month. The Sweet Scoops stamp set is so cute!!!
Supplies:
Stamps: Sweet Scoops, A Little Birthday Cheer
Ink: Melon Mambo, So Saffron, Close to Cocoa, Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Melon Mambo
Accessories: Texturz Plates, Big Shot, Melon Mambo Polka-Dot Ribbon, Dimensionals
The "Kissing" Technique was done on the ice cream scoops.
I leave you today with a couple of pictures from the Lavender Farm.
Have a great one!!

Soft Summer Swap Card
Hi! Sorry about the quietness on my blog! Sometimes a little break is needed! So I apologize for the lack of postings, but I do appreciate you sticking with me and visiting me! I have a few projects to share with you this week. My stamp club and Day-Time Class got together to stamp this past Friday and again this morning. Thanks for all who joined me!
Following is a card that I created to swap with my stamp club. I was a HUGE procrastinator last week, so I needed something simple and not too involved. So even though I inked up the image with markers and then used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the 2-step image, it wasn't too bad to crank out 10 of these cards! I used a retired stamp set, Soft Summer, from a previous mini catalog.
Supplies:
Stamps: Soft Summer, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Brocade Blue, Markers: Bashful Blue, Mellow Moss, Brocade Blue, Always Artichoke
Paper: Very Vanilla
Accessories: Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by! I have a few more projects to share with you this week, so be sure to stop by! I promise I won't be gone for too long!! ;)
