Hi!! Are you staying warm??? We have very frigid temperatures here in St. Louis, with a Winter Storm Advisory!!! Half of the city was shut down today, even including the shopping malls!! I guess there is nobody who wants to shop!! LOL!!!
I wanted to hop on here to share with you a little card that I created for my stamp club, who will be meeting next Friday! I know...I never plan this early!!! I'm a last minute kind of gal!! But I'm trying to change my ways. ;) Actually, my friend Kelly challenged me that I wouldn't have this card prepped when we went on our scrapbooking weekend a couple of weeks ago! I love challenges like that!! So I designed it and prepped it to bring along with me when we went scrapbooking. I knew a break from scrapbooking would be welcomed with a little stamping!! So I created 14 of these cards to swap with my stamp club. Check!!...that's me checking off one thing on a very long list!!
The banner has a little "wave" to it! So cute!
Supplies:
Stamps: Create a Cupcake, Curly Cute
Ink: Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Real Red
Paper: Bashful Blue, Pacific Point, Real Red, Glitter Paper (love this!!), Whisper White
Accessories: Background I Texturz Plates, Big Shot, Create a Cupcake Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Square Punch (for banner), Ticket Corner Punch, Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals
My inspiration for this card came from Dawn McVey, and you can see her card HERE. It's her 3rd card in the post.
Lastly, here is a picture of my dear husband shoveling the driveway. You can see that it is very gloomy outside and the brunt of the storm is yet to come! It has been sleeting ALL day long, so he wanted to get the sleet shoveled before the snow comes. They are expecting up to 12 inches in our area tonight!! It will be another snow day tomorrow!! Great day to snuggle up with a warm blanket on the couch, wouldn't you say???
Stay warm!!! And enjoy the time off if you don't have to go anywhere!!
Karen
